Lights, Camera, Action!

Thanks to Aunt Tracy for not only spending so much time with Makoa when we can’t be there, but for also filming Makoa today.  I suppose we need to thank Uncle Cory too for getting her the camera too!!

    Dearest Tiff and Lindsay,
It’s so nice to read all of your updates about Makoa. I’ve been quietly reading all that’s happening with your little guy day by day, and relating to every little bit. Your stories take me back to a time not long ago, when I sat in the NICU day after day watching my little man grow.
Congrats on making it to the 5th floor! That’s a huge step in the Torrance NICU world!

It’s fantastic that Makoa is breathing on his own! And, that silly ol’ gavage tube will be out in no time. Alexander pulled his tube out one day and decided it was never going back in! He ate all of his feedings by himself after that! 🙂

I notice that you really like songs, so I wanted to share the song that really that helped get me through those long days/weeks/months. It’s “God You Reign” by Lincoln Brewster. Whenever I listened to it, I was reminded that God is always in control no matter how helpless you feel and that he’s got your itty bitty baby in His hands.

So with that, I wish you a good night.
I’ve got you all covered in prayer!
    Lotsa Love,
    Kara
