January 6th 2010

It has been a day of ups and downs.  We went to bed last night under the impression that every was fine, all his tests came back normal and that all he needs is to be fed.  This morning, as I was out visiting our other two children, one of the other doctors told Tiff that there are signs that something is wrong.  It’s not one specific thing, it’s a couple of small things that by themselves would be out-of-the-ordinary, but together is troublesome.

So now it’s a waiting game.  All of his tests have come back normal, he’s eating well, and his vital signs are strong.  The hospital is bringing in a NEO Neurologist and NEO Geneticist to try and identify what the issue is.

Whatever the case may be, we are so thankful that little Makoa has been brought into our lives, and we are grateful for what God has in store for us.  We are taking it one day-at-a-time and have been overwhelmed and amazed at the outpouring of support and prayers!
