Welcome Home Makoa

7 Feb

It’s official…  Makoa is home with us.  I can’t begin to describe the immense feelings of joy both Tiffany and I have right now.  There is much to be done at the house so I will make this brief, but I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts, prayers, and support.  Here is a picture of Makoa snuggled up in his new hangout spot gearing up for the big game today.

Dear Makoa – Thank goodness you have received the gift of strength and determination from your mommy and daddy. Welcome home! Today will be a defining and transformative time for you and your family as you meet the other members of your family. No doubt, Kaialani and Nainoa will embrace you with their caring and loving ways. We are so blessed to have you in our lives and will continue to pray for you….I canʻt wait to see you in a few weeks and grab some photos of you at home. We have been waiting to grace our walls with your divine presence.

This has been an ginormous adventure, (Nainoa’s words).
We give thanks to God and all the blessings he has given us. We could not have made it through without his strength. God said from day one. Do not fear, God loves you and he hears your prayers. Thanks to everyone for giving your prayers to our family. We will continue to keep so many of you in our prayers for your needs. God has opened our eyes to the love and caring of so many people. I would read your thoughts each day and know that God was with us and he would reach us through your words. We pray now that we continue to thank God and look to him for direction. The Breeden Family is home and all together again where they belong. Let God’s light shine on them and bless them all.

    To The Breeden Family,

All I can do is smile and *sigh* over and over again as I watch the videos and look at the photos! What a wonderful day and Makoa is beautiful! I look forward to meeting the little guy in person once he is strong enough to party at the Zimms!
